REACH Celebrates its 2nd Anniversary
REACH Behavior and Development Center is proud to announce its second year anniversary, with a celebration with their learners to commemorate the special occasion. REACH was founded in September 2020, as one of the first accredited Behavior Centers of Excellence in Bahrain, committed to provide the best quality of ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services in Bahrain.
Through its 2nd Anniversary activities, titled “REACHing new Heights”, REACH aims to celebrate the center’s past and looks forward to its vision for the future
The objectives of the celebrations are to firstly confirm the center’s core identity based in 2 years of ABA services, and continue its innovation and leadership efforts. Secondly, is to unify the clinic’s autism community consisting of learners, staff, teachers, parents, community partners, and friends of REACH.
Third is to inspire the community to embrace autism acceptance in schools and in businesses. REACH has played a crucial role in spreading autism acceptance throughout Bahrain with two initiatives, Autism Friendly Business, a program which aims to provide professional training to staff of different businesses nationwide, which welcome families at their venues. Some of these businesses include, Costa Coffee by Zayani Foods, GICA Culinary Institute, Flip N Fun Gymnastics, Fitness 365, Mosaic House, Yipee, and many more.
REACH has also launched school workshops under the theme of Autism Acceptance, which encourages students to pledge to treat each other’s differences with love and respect.
Founder CEO, Mona Tadayyon added: “REACH aims to continue its mission to provide the best quality services of ABA in Bahrain and the GCC region, and live up to our values of Excellence, Innovation, Compassion, and Accountability. We recognize that each learner’s developmental milestones is a sacred responsibility and we ensure to care for each one, not just for ourselves, but for the community and for future generations. Our work involves an all-encompassing decision to deliver on our commitments. Through our celebrations we mark a historic moment in the life of the Center and look forward to reach brand new heights.”
Under the slogan “REACHing new Heights” , REACH is celebrating the learners and staff accomplishments, and to commemorate this event, a Time Capsule will be stored and buried.
A time capsule is a historic cache of goods or information, and is intended as a method of
communication with future people and provides future learners, therapists, and families a greater understanding of REACH Achievements, and hopes for the future. The Capsule mainly includes staff envisioning what REACH will achieve in future, and their hopes and dreams for themselves and their learners. We plan to re-open the capsule after 8 years, on the Center’s 10th anniversary.
