The Role of the School Shadow
What is a School Shadow?
A School Shadow works closely with teachers to offer individualized support for students, especially those with additional needs. Their primary role is to assist students in navigating the classroom environment, adapting to routines, and where applicable, they help develop social skills and assist with academics to bridge any gaps. It is important to note that their role also includes the application of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies to ensure students education and behavioral goals are met.
