Why choose Strong Start?
Our program fosters language, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development through engaging, play-based activities led by a qualified therapist who specialises in behaviour therapy. Your child will receive an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to their needs, with goals and progress updates.
Program Details
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Enrollment Process
1.Initial Consultation: Schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to determine eligibility for our services.
2. Service Agreement: Upon approval, sign a service agreement to secure your child’s placement.
3. Year-Round Enrollment: We offer year-round enrollment, including winter and summer breaks.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, your child must meet the following criteria:
1. Core ABA Services: A minimum of 4 hours of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy per week. Additional services, such as Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Occupational Therapy (OT), can be incorporated.
2. Communication Skills: Basic communication skills, which may include the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, sign language, or spoken language.
3. Behavioral Considerations: Absence of self-injurious behavior or aggression towards others.
